LigandQuest
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
LigandQuest is a physics-based educational experience designed to teach core pharmacology concepts to anyone. Fling chemical messengers around with the mouse and cause changes in the patient's body.
The game has 11 inbuilt levels that cover important pharmacological ideas. However, the main focus of the game is an incredibly powerful level editor, which allows players to make and share levels to teach other users or demonstrate their knowledge. Levels are saved as files that are easily shareable.
This game was developed by Ryan O'Hara and Andy Mechalakos and funded via the QUIP-RS grant program at Quinnipiac University.

- On Mac, you'll need to hold control when you open the app for the first time, then choose Open. Macs have security that won't let you open files that didn't come from the app store unless you do this.
- On Windows, the game and the "LigandQuest_Data" folder MUST be in the same place, or else the game won't run.
